The workshop on Modern Approaches in SPDEs & Data Assimilation took place from July 3rd to 8th  in Sibiu, Romania. The event was organized by the Imperial College London and supported by our centre. Jana de Wiljes, Jin Won Kim, Diksha Bhandari, Katherine Briceno Guerrero, Maia Tienstra, and Sahani Pathiraja (1st funding period) participated and were working on the connections between real-observation systems and theoretical nonlinear fluid dynamics models.
