CRC 1294 Member Josie König was appointed as GAMM Junior 2027-29

We are delighted to announce that Josie König has been selected as a member of the GAMM Juniors for a period of three years, from 2027 to 2029.

The GAMM Juniors are an initiative of the German Association for Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (GAMM) that aims to promote young mathematicians and engineers. As a member of the GAMM Juniors, Josie will benefit from waived membership fees and additional financial and moral support during the early stages of her academic career. The GAMM Juniors contribute to the structural and intellectual renewal of the GAMM through their voice, while encouraging young researchers to engage in self-organised scientific networking and to develop greater autonomy. We congratulate her on this achievement and look forward to seeing her future contributions to the field of applied mathematics.
