I hold a M.Sc. degree in Geoinformatics from Berliner Hochschule für Technik and a Ph.D. in Planetary Sciences from Freie Universität Berlin. Currently, I work as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Z03 "Information Infrastructure" project, where we focus on the CRC researchers' data management. This includes providing an IT infrastructure to facilitate data sharing and training researchers in their data management. Overall, the work sides with a cultural change across multiple research communities that involves the implementation of FAIR and CARE principles while also promoting the recognition of research data publications as scientific achievements. To that end, the project exchanges ideas with research data initiatives and other stakeholders in the respective research communities. Since my previous projects had a strong technical component and focused on the creation and analyses of geospatial data, including several projects in research software development, I bring data handling experiences from the geoscience community to the interdisciplinary landscape of the CRC. Thus, my main research interests include geospatial data analyses, planetary surface evolution, research software development, and the sustainable provision of scientific data.
