3rd SFB Data Think Tank

Potsdamer Wissenschaftsetage, Bildungsforum

The 2nd SFB Data Think Tank will take place on February 14th and 15th, 2024 at the Wissenschaftsetage, Bildungsforum Potsdam. Please find the event schedule here.

This year we will collaborate with Prof Dr Carsten Beta (B02 and  B07 project of the  CRC 1294) and Prof Dr Isabell Wartenburger (Cognitive Sciences and the CRC 1287) from the University of Potsdam.

The topics are:

  • Extraction of cell contours from microscopy images (Dr. Cristina Martinez Torres, B02)
  • Synchronicity of auditory speech signals and pupillometry changes (pupillary entrainment) and the role of pauses (Dr. Alan Langus, CRC 1287)
  • Causal inference: Independence of music-rhythm, language, and executive functions (Dr. Enikő Ladányi, Cognitive Science)

The Data Think Tank helps to connect theoretical expertise with practical application and provides a framework for problem-oriented teamwork, exchange of ideas, and networking.
