Autumn School 2026 in Boltenhagen

The annual SFB Spring School 2026 is an Autumn School this year to allow all new members of the third phase to come along. It will take place from Monday September 28^th to Friday October 2^nd (arrival on Sunday September 23^rd) at the previous phases members favorite retreat location, the Linder Hotel Boltenhagen.

This retreat will serve as the Third Phase Kick-Off (rescheduled from May 22^nd) to bring everyone on track with what the other projects are planning to achieve and feel out potential collaboraitons between projects. Our invited guest speakers will provide intense low-entry courses to central topics of the SFB. The retreat will also provide plenty of room to discuss recent scientific advances with our invited guest speakers. The program will include talks and lectures, exercises, a poster session and social activity, especially for the non-PIs to get to know one another. 

We are happy to have the following guest speakers, who we know as excellent teachers:

• Kathrin Smetana from the Stevens Institute of Technology

• Max Pfeffer, a newly appointed professor at UP
