The Symposium on Inverse Problems: From experimental data to models and back will take place in Potsdam (Campus Griebnitzsee) as part of the newly established Potsdam DA Days.The symposium is co-organized by the CRC 1456 Mathematics of ExperimentCRC 1294 Data Assimilation and the Gesellschaft für Inverse Probleme e.V. (GIP), and will take place from 19th to 21st of September 2022.

The scope of the conference includes all aspects of inverse problems. A particular focus of this workshop will be the modelling, mathematical analysis, and numerical treatment of experimental data. Scientists at an early stage of the career (PhD students, postdocs) are particularly encouraged to participate.
