Sebastian Reich selected as SIAM 2019 Fellow

Congratulations to our SFB speaker Sebastian Reich for having been selected into the SIAM Fellows Class of 2019.

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) honors members for their outstanding contributions to their fields. SIAM awards this honor to distinguished members, which were nominated by their peers, for their exemplary research as well as outstanding service to the community. Sebastian Reich received the awards “for incisive contributions to the field of computational differential equations, and applications in molecular dynamics and data assimilation.”
