Spring School 2022

The annual SFB Spring School 2022 will take place from the 21st (arrival on the 20th) to the 25nd of March 2022 at the Hotel Döllnsee-Schorfheide.

All members of the SFB as well a number of external PhD students and Postdocoral researchers will discuss recent scientific advances with our invited guest speakers and will have time to advance collaboration across projects. The program will include talks and lectures, exercises, a poster session and social activity. A number of places will be openly advertised for external PhD students and Postdoctoral researchers to participate in the Spring School.

We invite a number of SFB external researchers to attend the Spring School and a number of fellowships are available. Please find the flyer here. Application deadline is the 09th of February.

How to prepare:

Please make sure that you install Phython on your laptop to be able to participate in some of the exercises.

As mentioned before we are conducting our Spring School under 2G+ (vaccinated or boostered + tested on Sunday) conditions. Please remember to bring your vaccinations papers/app or likewise as well as your ID or passport (with picture!) with you.

How to get there:

In order to get to the location of the Spring School, we organized a bus, which will leave at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main station) on Sunday the 20th early afternoon at 3 pm. We will meet at the bus stop in front of the main station at 2.45 pm. Please make sure you are on time as the bus cannot wait for you. Please find your way to Potsdam Main Station using the local public transport BVG webpage. As the Main Station has a number of entrances, please find an overview and the location of the meeting point here.

We will drive back from the Hotel Schorfheide Döllnsee on Friday, the 25th around 1.30 pm. The bus ride will take approx. 1.5 - 2h each way.
